摘　　要： 反义词可分为语言反义词和言语反义词。言语反义词是指两个原本不具反义关系的词置于某一具体的语境中或通过借助辞格将其字面意义加以引申,从而临时构成意义相反或相对的反义词。文章拟从分析英汉言语反义词构成的条件入手探讨英汉言语反义词的特点及修辞效果,旨在帮助读者更好地认识和正确使用言语反义词,以达到加强语言表达效果的作用。 Antonyms may be divided into language antonyms and speech antonyms. Speech antonyms refer to those formed by words whieh are not normally opposite in denotative meaning and which are put in some context or helped by means of figures of speech. This artiele, beginning with the analysis of the conditions of formation of Chinese - English speeeh antonyms, probes into the features and rhetorieal effect of the speech antony：as so that the readers will better understand and correctly use the speech antonyms and achieve the function of reinforcing the effects of expression.
