摘　　要： 本文以中山大学化学学科用户为对象,对他们发表的论文以及引文数据进行整理分析,表明化学家越来越重视外文语种期刊,高度集中ACS、Elservier、RSC和Wiley等四种全文期刊数据库,对中文语种期刊的质量不认同。中山大学图书馆订购的化学类纸本/电子版期刊保障率高,纸本期刊对电子期刊起到辅助作用。通过引文数据,得到化学家高频被引的134种期刊。从引文数据的年限频次看出:随着电子期刊回溯时间的增加,纸本期刊的辅助作用会逐渐减少。从纸本期刊的馆藏地点得出:需要调整纸本期刊馆藏地点,保证期刊的连续性和统一性,要加强校区分馆之间的文献传递服务。 Based on the published articles and citations of users in The Sun Yat-sen University Library in Chemistry subject, the chemists are most likely to cite the foreign language journals. For the high degree of concentration of ACS, Elservier, RSC and Wiley Journal Databases, the qualities of the Chinese language journals are often questioned. The Sun Yat-sen University Library guarantees to purchase high quality print and electronic journals, Print journals play a supporting role to electronic journals. 134 Journals have been frequently cited by the chemists based on the recent statistic report. The statistic report also shows that the demanding for the print journals is decreasing due to the increased usage in the electronic journals. There is a need to adjust the print journal collection sites to ensure the print journals consistency and to strengthen the Literature Delivery Services among the branch campuses.
