摘　　要： 我国已出版多部法律英译本,评估译本质量需要先确立一定的翻译原则。该文结合《商业银行法》三个英译本的不足之处,论述了法律翻译的精准和专业两个原则,以及二者对译作质量的影响。精准原则要求规范性法律文本的翻译应该在准确的基础上达到"精确"的高度,专业原则则要求译者精通语言、法律和相关领域几方面的知识。译者只有遵循精准与专业原则,才能保证法律译本的质量。 There have been various English versions of many laws in China, the evaluation of which re- quires certain principles of translation. Comparing three English versions of the Law of the PRC on Commercial Banks, this article elaborates two principles of legal translation-precision and professionalism and further discusses their influence on the quality of translation. The first principle requires translators to convey the exact intention of lawmakers, while the second principle calls for knowledge of legal language, law and related subjects. Only by following these two principles can we assure the quality of legal translation.
