摘　　要： 爱是人类普遍的情感,它神秘而抽象,人们往往借助隐喻来表达这一情感。笔者试图以BNC和CCL两个语料库的语料为依据,对英汉爱情隐喻表达的异同进行定量分析和归纳研究,发现英汉语对爱情隐喻概念均有中立和积极的情感偏向性。但英语中关于爱情的隐喻应用语域比汉语的应用语域更广,汉语的爱情隐喻比英语有更丰富的映射概念,两种语言在相似中有差异,带有中西方各自的文化特征。 Love is so abstract that it is often expressed in metaphorical sentences. Although the use of metaphor is universal,the selection of specific metaphors for interpreting the world is frequently culture-specific. The objective of this study is to study the representations of metaphors in the structure of LOVE IS. With the means of corpus,the author intends to find out the similarities and differences in terms of applications,attitudes and concepts reflected in love metaphorical representations between English and Chinese.
