摘 要: 目前构词法的重要性,构词法对学习英语词汇的作用,已为英语教学与研究界所普遍认同,但教学实验性的量化研究并不多见。本文通过教学实验研究进行了此方面的初步探讨。结果表明:构词法对提高英语词汇量有非常显著的作用。尽管在对构词法知识的掌握上未见显著性差异,但实验班的构词法知识水平比对照班的提高得快,表明了本实验对构词法知识水平的提高有一定的促进作用,但作用不显著。 Nowadays,the importance of word formation and its effect on English vocabulary study are generally acknowledged in English teaching and research.However,quantitative studies on that by teaching experiments,which are discussed in this paper,are rare.The results show that word formation have a remarkable effect on enlarging the vocabulary.Despite no significant difference,the experimental class improves its knowledge of word formation better than the control class,which indicates that the experiment can promote learners to improve their knowledge of word formation although the promotion is not significant.
