摘 要: 在本研究中,笔者依据语言迁移理论,通过对高中、高职以及非英语专业本科生学习英语复合词的实证研究发现:中国学生在学习外语的过程中,语言迁移时有发生;但语言迁移发生的频率和范围则要受到三个因素的制约:(1)词汇排列顺序,(2)结构相似和(3)形态变化,两种语言在这三个因素上相似点越多,就越容易产生语言的迁移。 The present empirical study, based upon the language transfer theory, probes into the process of English compound words learning by the students from a key senior middle school, a vocational school and a university, and discovers that language transfer often occurs in foreign language learning, but its frequency and scope are restricted by the following three factors: (1) the sequence of word order; (2) the similarity in structure and (3) inflectional changes in word forms. The more similarities two languages have, the more likely language transfer occurs.
