摘　　要： 海外华人创作的华文作品实际上连居住国主流社会都难以进入,外国人用中文书写的难度大于中国人用英文书写的难度。汉语书面语言艰深,繁简体及其多种体式为互联网传播带来不便。海外华人重视子女受教育,自己却不肯读书受教育。障碍不仅在"语言翻译关",更在于民情、民族观念差距甚大。中国文学向世界传播、扩张的潜能,至少从理论意义上看,远在英语文学之上。 In fact,Overseas Chinese works still don＇t enter the majority society of the countries where overseas Chinese live.It＇s more difficult that foreigners write in Chinese than the Chinese write in English.The Chinese language is heavily inconvenient to spread on the Internet because of the complex form of simplified and unsimplified Chinese characters and their various writing types.Overseas Chinese pay more attention to their children＇s education than their own education.The obstacle lies not only in the ＂language translation＂,but also in the great differences of the peoples＇ living and feeling.Theoretically,the expansion potential for Chinese literature to spread in the world is far superior to English literature.
