摘　　要： 在明末清初科技翻译高潮中,西方传教士发挥了重要的作用,他们的翻译活动客观上推动了中西文化的交流和中国科技的发展。从译者主体性来看,明末清初传教士科技翻译活动具有"为我性"、"顺应性"和"操控性",这三者的统一构成了该时期传教士科技翻译活动的本质特点。 Missionaries from the west played an important part in the upsurge of Sci-tech translation activities during the late Ming and early Qing,which attributes a lot to the development of science and technology and the cultural communication between the east and the west as well.From the pespective of the translator′s subjectivity,the characteristics of missionaries′ sci-tech translation during that period can be concluded as intentionality,adaptability and manipulation.
