摘 要: 本研究采用动窗技术和回指解决范式,探讨了文本空间描述的复杂程度对空间情境模型建构的影响。实验1表明,简单空间描述条件下,读者对文本所描述的位置信息进行表征,建构以类别距离为基础的空间情境模型,并据此完成回指解决任务;实验2发现,文本空间描述较复杂时,读者没有建构深层次的空间情境模型,只对所描述内容保持最基本的文本表征,而且通过文本表征完成回指解决任务。 Using the on-line window display technique and the anaphora resolution model, the research made two experiments designed to explore how the complexity of layout influenced the mental representation of text reading. Experiment 1 showed that when the layout in the discourse was simple, readers established a spatial situation model during reading. Experiment 2 demonstrated that when readers were confronted with a complex layout, they failed to set up spatial information. However, they could represent the surface characteristics of text itself.
