摘　　要： 意象有渲染气氛和表达情感、刻画人物形象、衬托戏剧主题的功能,在《奥赛罗》里,恶魔意象是唯一贯穿全剧的一组意象群,具体指的是依阿哥用以作用于奥赛罗、布拉班修、洛德里高以达到其邪恶目的的恶魔意象群,包括:动物意象、食物意象、投毒意象、捕捉意象、血意象等。这组意象群具有显著、独特的特征——意象的动态性,对深化依阿哥这个人物形象具有重要的作用。 Imagery contributes to the play up of atmosphere, the functions of expressing feelings and depicting character images and the setoff of play theme. In Othello, diabolic imagery is the only set of imagery group that is permeated from the beginning to the end of the play. Specifically, it refers to the diabolic imagery group that Iago uses the diabolic imagery group put on OtheUo, Brabantlo to realize his evil purposes, including imageries of various animals, food imagery, poisoner imagery, hunter im- agery, blood imagery, etc. This group of imagery possesses conspicuous and unique feature： dynamics of imagery, which plays an important role in deepened depiction of the character of Iago.
