摘　　要： 吉登斯在《民族—国家与暴力》中,分析了在从传统国家到绝对主义国家再到民族—国家的三种国家体系转变的过程中,暴力以两种形式存在并显现出不同的发展态势。这两种暴力形式分别是:体现为国家对武装力量运用的显性暴力、国家通过行政力量实行监控的隐性暴力。两种暴力之间构成了暴力的内在张力关系,但吉登斯忽略了对这种张力关系的系统分析。在国家体系转变中突显暴力的内在张力,是对吉登斯理念的一个有益增补。 In The Nation-State and Violence, Giddens analyzed two existent forms of violence and their apparent different momentum of development, within the transition of the state systems from the traditional state to the absolutist state, and then to the nation-state. The two forms of violence are respectively the visible violence which refers to the state＇s exercising armed forces, and the invisible violence which refers to the state＇s supervisory control via administrative forces. These forms make up of the inner tension of violence, the systematic analysis about which, however, was neglected by Giddens in his work. As a result, it＇s undoubtedly a beneficial supplement to Giddens＇ idea that to reflexively highlight the inner tension of violence within the transition of the state system.
