摘　　要： "教化"是中国古代重要的文论范畴之一。作为一个悠久的范畴,"教化"范畴在价值取向上有双重意义,即强调文学的社会政治功用和对个体的伦理道德培养,两者又有着高度的统一,具有强烈的功利主义色彩。"教化"是儒家功利主义文学观中的重要范畴,"教化"范畴带着功利主义的特征一直通向现代,至今还存活于中国现当代文论建构之中。 Enlightenment is an important category of ancient literature theory. As an old category, the value of enlighten- ment contains the double meaning, which is cultivating individual＇s morality and servicing for the government. The enlightenment is an important category with utilitarianism color, and it makes an important effect on the construction of modem and contemporary literature theory.
