摘 要: 随着半导体、电路集成技术以及光器件集成技术的不断发展,光传输技术在芯片内部的应用已经成为一种势不可挡的趋势。本文介绍了片内传输的发展过程,在此基础上分析了片上传输对带宽、时延和吞吐等方面的要求,探讨了将光传输技术应用到芯片的方法。研究了片上光传输系统的背景知识,详细地分析了一个片上光传输技术应用的实例,其中包括其网络结构设计和路由器设计和通信过程。最后预测了片上光传输的发展趋势。 With the advances in semiconductor circuit integrated technology and optical device integrated technology,the trend of applying optical transmission technology to chip is irresistible,This paper describes the development of on-chip transmission,on this basis, analyses its requirments of bandwidth,latency and throughput etc.and dicusses the method that how to apply optical transmission technology to chip.In addition,we investigate the background information of on-chip optical transmission system.What is more, details of a on-chip optical transimition application including its network architecture design,router design and communication process are presented.Finally we predict the trend of on-chip optical transmission.
