摘　　要： 东江文化是"兼容"即"杂合"文化演变的结果。针对有的学者提出"杂合"有可能"发展为粗野、狭隘"而"缺少核心价值观"的观点,文章论析了东江文化经历过"兼容"和"杂合"之后,最关键的是实现其文化创新。"杂合"即多元文化的相互交流融合,最终获得创新,从而形成了东江文化的基本内涵:东江人开拓进取、海纳百川、兼容并包的思维观念和价值取向;具有东江地域特色的文化传播方式和手段;风俗习惯、服饰、饮食、居住、礼仪等具有东江区域特性的社会生活要素。 Dongjiang culture is the result of ＂hybrid culture＂. Some scholars held that ＂hybrid＂ has the likelihood of becoming ＂coarse and insular＂ and thus lacks a core value. However, the auther in this paper has analyzed the changes of Dongjiang culture and believes that it has realized its innovation, and has formed its underlying connotation： the fundamental value of being enterprising, compatible and eager to absorb differences. Dongjiang culture has its unique ways and means of culture transmission, and has its own typical customs, costumes, food, housing and etiquettes.
