摘　　要： 建国以来,党和国家对中山陵等一批民国建筑经典是妥善保护的,对城南明清至民国的民居类建筑历史街区,也多次做过保护性规划。然而,近一时期有关南京历史街区的保护问题时有波澜和争议。在当前许多地方意识到文化遗产保护事业并不与新建设相冲突,而恰可相得益彰的时候,笔者愿简述其文化价值,以期我们生于斯、长于斯的故土——古城南京——得到更充分的保护。 Since the foundation of the P.R.China,the CCP and government have been protecting the classis buildings built during the period of R.O.C and making protective planning for the historical blocks built in Qing Dynasty and R.O.C in the south.However,there are debates and disagreements on the protection for the historical street blocks recently.It is realized that protection of cultural heritages does not conflict with the new construction but complement each others.I hope that more appropriate protection will be made for Nanjing,the ancient city where we were born and grew up.
