摘 要: 光滑函数在支持向量机中起着重要作用。Chen和Mangasarian用Sigmoid函数的积分函数作为光滑函数,提出了一个光滑的支持向量机。袁玉波等人用一个四次多项式函数作为光滑函数,提出了一个多项式光滑的支持向量机,但未对该多项式函数的有关性能进行详细分析。提出分析多项式函数的若干性能。结果表明,该多项式函数具有单调性和二阶光滑性,为研究光滑支持向量机提供了更好的理论支持。 Smoothing functions play an important role in support vector machines (SVMs). Chen and Mangasarian used the integration of Sigmoid function as a smoothing function, and developed a Smooth Support Vector Machine (SSVM). Yuan et al. used a 4th-order polynomial function as a smoothing function, also developed a Polynomial Smooth Support Vector Machine (PSSVM). BUt they have not analysed properties of the polynomial function. A detailed analysis of its properties is offers. The results of analysis show that the polynomial function has its mono- tonicity and 2nd-order smoothness. The better theoretical support for researching the SVM is provided.
