摘　　要： 以问卷调查的形式,通过以电子邮件发放和回收问卷为主的方式,对全国14所高等院校的外语系教师做了研究分析。问卷的设计从包括调查对象学历等基本情况、培训情况、培训项目以及教师培训评价方式等几个方面来制定。问卷回收后通过EXCEL对数据进行逐个统计,并转换为相关数据图表(柱形图)。通过分析发现,现今大学英语教师队伍存在年轻化、低职称、年龄结构不平衡等问题,大多数教师期望能得到长期和系统的培训。 This research investigates the basic facts of college English teachers from foreign faculties of 14 colleges and universities in China. Questionnaires were distributed and collected via e- mails. The questionnaire includes items about the subjects＇ degrees, academic qualification,training programs which they had taken part in before the investigation, and evaluation methods of teacher training. After the questionnaires were collected,Excel forms were used to record the basic information and then the data has been converted to data charts （column charts）. The analysis reveals that the present college English teaching staff has problems like trends of being younger in average age,lower ranks of professional titles and unbalancing structure of ages. The majority of the subjects expect long - term and systematic trainings.
