摘　　要： 武汉是中国近代化进程中崛起的一颗明星城市。城市地名鲜明打上了时代的印痕,浓缩了一部中国近现代史。武汉城市地名具有鲜明的时代感,其原由有三:与观察者的历史方位有关,与武汉城市与时俱进的品格有关,与武汉近现代以来的历史命运有关。 Wuhan is a prosperous city growing up in the process of modernization. Its place names are branded with time tag. And they have condensed a history of modern and contemporary China. There are three factors for this： relevance to the historical position of observers, relevance to the quality of advance with the time, and relevance to the historical fate of Wuhan since the modern time.
