摘 要: 从1978年一路走来的中国大众传播研究,至今已经走过了30个年头。纵观中国大众传播的30年,尽管其发展道路蜿蜒曲折,尽管其研究受到来自各方的批判,尽管其合法性不断受到质疑,但该学术领域的进展是不容抹煞的。然而,不可否认的是,30年来,对策性研究远比基础性研究更受欢迎;学科内部欠缺良好的沟通与传承,有着明显的断裂感;对重大问题缺乏话语权和影响力;严重受制于不合理的学术制度是大众传播研究不可回避的缺陷。未来中国的大众传播研究发展,除了应在现有实证研究成果的基础上加强理论建构外,似乎还应当强调对大众传播思想史的重写;从人类学或社会学的角度对一些传与受的个案进行更为深入的研究;对媒介文化的批判性研究或诠释性研究。 Studies of mass communication in China since the year 1978 have undergone three important sta- ges of development. Despite all the criticisms and doubts therein, remarkable progress has been made. At the same time, there are quite a few problems that are worthy of attention: measure-based researches out-weigh basic ones, there exists a remarkable rupture inside the discipline which calls for better communication, the right of speaking and power of influence at major issues are weak, and the academic system in the field under discussion is far from sound. To usher in better development in the future, we should further strengthen theoretical construction on the basis of the present empirical studies, pay more attention to rewriting the history of mass communication thoughts, make more in-depth case studies from the angle of anthropology and sociology, and make critical and interpretive studies on media culture.
