摘　　要： 以高校图书馆读者服务用电脑为切入点,从现状描述、读者需求、趋势演变、计算机资源提供与利用的矛盾几个方面,重新审视读者服务用电脑的功能定位,并以实际个案,验证瘦客户机在高校图书馆中应用的可行性。 This paper makes flesh examination of the functional orientation of the computer for reader service in college libraries by describing the present state of its use, readers＇ needs, change of the trend, and the contradiction between the provision and the use of computers and explores the feasibility of the application of the thin-client in the library with case studies.
