摘　　要： 两次鸦片战争期间是澳门政治发展的一个非常重要的阶段,它奠定了近现代澳门政治发展的基础。本文以一份英文报纸《华友西报》为基础,研究了这个时期里,三个最为重要的政治问题。一是"议事亭九请",它开始了澳门葡人公开要求改变旧有政治体制的先声;二是"自由港"政策,它是澳门葡人改变旧有政治体制的最早的步骤之一;三是澳门总督亚马留对澳门的扩张,它完成了葡萄牙人在澳门扩张的过程。 The time between the two Opium Wars was an important period of the political development in Macao; it laid a good foundation for the near modern development in Macao. This paper uses an English newspaper-Friend of China and Hongkong Gazette as the basis and looked into the three most important political problems during this period:the Nine Requests of the Leal Senado of Macao,which marked the beginning for the Portuguese to publicly ask for the changing of the Macao's political system; the Free Port Policy,which was one of the earliest steps of their changing political system; the colonial expansion of the Portuguese governor of Macao,Joo Ferreira do Amaral,which completed the expansion of Portuguese in Macao
