摘　　要： 委婉语体现了语言表达间接、温和和含糊等特点,表现了语言使用中的面子、礼貌等语用功能。本文从语用认知的视角,在语用充实的概念框架下,分析了汉语委婉语和所替代的本体事物之间概念范畴变化的几种类型,认为委婉语的理解是一个在语境因素制约下的语用充实过程。 Euphemism reflects the indirectness, mildness and vagueness in linguistic communication. It reveals the speaker＇s concern for politeness and face in communication. This paper adopts a pragma-cognitive approach to some types of Chinese euphemism under the conceptual framework of pragmatic enrichment. It is argued that Chinese euphemism understanding is a process of pragmatic enrichment constrained by contextual factors.
