摘　　要： 讨论了实现数字化图书馆的关键技术，多媒体数据库管理系统（ＭＤＭＳ）的构成及实现方法，给出ＭＤＭＳ的结构体系、多媒体的管理方法、操作方法及多媒体数据库与Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ上Ｗｅｂ服务器的接口技术． オhe paper mainly discusses the theory, characteristics and advantage if hypermediadigitallibrary based on Internet.It also concerns how to define the architecture system of the future digitallibrary, how to design the hypermedia database which stores massive document.the means for interface between database system and web server is also provided.
