摘　　要： 随着女性社会角色的变化,单身女性已经成为一个不容忽视的社会群体,因此对于这样一个群体的称谓也是风起云涌,"剩女"作为一个新时代的流行语最广泛的运用和接受,势必有其广泛的社会和心理基础,一个新词语的出现一定程度上代表着一种社会观念的更新,承载着一定的社会文化内涵,本文也正是就着重以"剩女"为突破点,从词语本身的特点和它所体现的社会文化观念和心理的变革方面略做分析。 ＂the rest women＂has become an important group as the change of the role of the women. So there are more and more name of this group , As a pop word of the new age, ＂the rest women＂ has been accepted and used widely. And the poUution of it mast has the social and Psychological basic. The appear of a new word means the change of a social view, containing some certain connotation of social culture . This article is trying to do some discussion of the characteristic of the word and its social culture and the Psychology transformation from the example of＂ the rest women＂.
