摘　　要： 在对比了ＡＴＭ网络结构与ＯＳＩ／ＲＭ网络模型异同的基础上，阐述了ＡＴＭ与异种计算机网络互连的基本原理，分析了现有协议对ＡＴＭ网络互连的支持，讨论了新一代ＩＰｖ６及路由器、ＡＴＭ交换机结合技术对ＡＴＭ互连网的推动。 This paper contrasts the network model of ATM with OSI/RM,specifies the basic theory of interconnection between ATM and other computer network,analyzes the supports for the existing protocols for the interconnection between ATM and other computer networks,and discusses a new generation of IPv6 and the integration of router and ATM switching technologies.
