摘　　要： “和合”是中国文化的精髓和重要价值取向，“和合”思想贯穿于中国思想文化发展全过程。国家形象是一国国家实力及其影响力的具体体现。良好的国家形象可以产生强大的凝聚力和吸引力，并有助于加强国际交流与合作。塑造良好的国家形象对当前的中国具有特殊意义．在深刻理解“和合”文化的内涵和现代意义的基础上，结合中国国情，本文认为当前中国国家形象的主要特征应该是：开放包容、责任担当、合作稳定、和平正义、和谐发展、充满活力和机会的发展中大国，充分阐述中国的“和合”思想文化传统是塑造并传播中国国家形象的当务之急和可行之路。 ＂Harmonious and integrated culture＂ is the quintessence and important values of Chinese culture. Harmonious and integrated thoughts run through the whole development process of Chinese thoughts and culture. State image of one country embodies its power and influence. Good state image can engender a strong flow of cohesion and fascination and promote international communication and cooperation. Building a good state image is of special significance for China today. Based on the deep understanding of the connotation and modern significance of harmonious and integrated culture, coupled with China＇s actual situation, it is proposed that the defining characteristics of China＇s state image at present are： Openness and tolerance, responsibility, cooperation and stability, peace and integrity, harmony and development, vigor and opportunities. It is urgent and practical to build and communicate China＇s state image with full illustration of China＇s history of harmonious and integrated thoughts and culture.
