The "mismatch" of wealth and happiness in contemporary society makes psychologists and economists begin to rethink the relationship between wealth and happiness. When reviewing the history of psychology and economics, we'll find that they are all betraying their original intention of pursuing "happiness". But recently, the rise of positive psychology and behevionomics suggests the return of "happiness" in these two disciplines. At present, psychologists and economists are working together to get a better understanding of well-being, to find factors affecting it, and to develop indicator systems to measure it. We can expect that their cooperation will bring us more and more significant achievement.
