摘　　要： 本文基于系统论观点,分析了和谐社会的维度特征,以寻求影响城市可持续发展的另类变量,进而设计了评价与监测城市可持续发展的一套指标体系。该体系同传统的城市可持续发展评价与监测方法相比较,一方面可以减少指标选取的主观性,另一方面能减小指标所包含信息的重复与遗漏之间的矛盾,从而增加城市可持续发展评价与监测的科学性。 Based on the systems theory, this paper analyzes the dimension characteristics of the harmonious society, seeks the alternative variables which affect the urban sustainable development, and then designs an evaluation and indicator system. This system is constructed by two research areas and twenty - four counter indicators. Compared with the traditional evaluation and monitor methods for urban sustainable development, the new system reduces the subjectivity when we select indicators and the information redundancy and omission contained in indicators so as to make the evaluation and monitor for urban sustainable development much more scientific.
