摘　　要： 植物作为自然界的一种重要生物,被广泛地应用于潮汕传统节俗、婚姻习俗、日常生活习俗、信仰崇拜习俗、丧葬习俗以及民间俗语中。潮汕民俗对植物的广泛应用,充分反映了潮汕人的信仰崇拜,具有浓郁的潮汕地方特色、明显的季节特征以及鲜明的象征与隐喻特色,营造了节日欢乐气氛的时间,具有趋吉避邪与保健功效。 Plants are important living things in nature and they are widely used in the traditional folk customs, marriage traditions, daily habits, belief and worship customs, mourning customs, and folk sayings in Chaoshan Area. This practice reflects the particular features of this area, prominent seasonal traits, and symbolic and metaphorical features, thus creating greatly the festive atmosphere while having the function of having good luck and avoiding bad luck.
