摘　　要： 美国实用主义哲学家杜威的艺术观说对当时的艺术造成巨大的冲击,影响着现代美国艺术的发展,改变了美国艺术家的思维方式。当年美国兴起的第一个艺术运动——抽象表现主义在经验是艺术的基础、艺术表现中包含着情感、艺术内容是道德的等理念中充分体现了杜威的艺术观。 The American pragmatist philosopher John Dewey＇s artistic view has made a great impact on the then art, affected the development of modern USA art, and changed the thinking mode of American artists. The first art movement in America at that time--abstract expressionism fully embodies Dewey＇s view that experience is the basis of art, artistic expression contains emotion, and artistic content is morality and so on.
