摘　　要： 甘蔗新品种新台糖１６号和新台糖１８号、新台糖２０号先后于１９９３年和１９９５年从台湾省引入我省。经２年隔离检疫后进行比较试验，结果表明这３个新品种在产量、蔗糖分和田间锤度等方面均明显优于对照品种粤糖６３／２３７。初步认为，这３个新品种均属早熟高糖高产品种。今后拟进一步扩大在不同生态蔗区的试验和示范，望能成为我省繁育推广的后续良种。 New variety Roc16 was introduced into Guangdong from Taiwan province in 1993, Roc18 and Roc20 were introduced in 1995. Comparative experiment was conducted after two years quarantine. The results showed that these three new varieties were superior to the control, Yuetang 63/237 in yield, sucrose content and field brix. They all have early maturity, high sucrose content and yield. Further experiment and demonstration in various ecological sugarcane fields have been prepared and the three new varieties are expected to become successive improved varieties multipilied and popularized in Guangdong.
