环保型结合剂对高炉炮泥性能的影响

摘  要: 采用高铝矾土(w(Al2O3)>85%,粒度为3~1、≤1mm)、焦炭(w(C)>82%,粒度为3~1、≤1mm)、碳化硅(w(SiC)>85%,粒度≤0.077mm)、软质黏土(w(Al2O3)>30%,粒度≤0.045mm)等为原料,用4种具有不同黏度和固定碳量的环保型结合剂,在搅拌机内搅拌40min制成高炉炮泥。在单向液压机上用5MPa的压力制成50mm×50mm的柱状试样和125mm×25mm×25mm的条状试样。根据炮泥检测仪控制炮泥的马夏值为0.70~0.73MPa,从而确定结合剂的加入量;根据炮泥检测仪检测了炮泥马夏值随时间的变化;根据拉环试验测定了300℃炮泥的剪切应力;液压机检测了烧成炮泥的常温耐压强度;电动抗折机检测了烧成炮泥的常温抗折强度;水为溶剂检测了烧成炮泥的显气孔率。结果表明:1)随着结合剂黏度的增加,炮泥中结合剂加入量增多,可塑性更好,300℃炮泥剪切应力降低;2)随着结合剂中固定碳含量的提高,炮泥烧后强度变大,显气孔率降低。 Taphole mix was prepared using high alumina bauxite (w(Al2O3) 〉85% ,particle size:3 - 1 mm, ≤1 mm), coke (w(C) 〉82%,particle size:3 -1 mm,≤1 mm),silicon carbide (w(SiC) 〉85%,particle size ≤0.077 mm),and soft clay (w(Al2O3) 〉30% ,particle size ≤0. 04.5 mm) as starting materials,adding four environmental friendly binders with different viscosity and fixed carbon contents, mixing in a mixer for 40 min. Specimens with dimensions of φ50 mm ×50 mm and 125 mm ×25 mm×25 mm were prepared under a uniaxial pressure of 5 MPa. The binder addition was determined by adjusting the Marshall value within 0. 70 -0.73 MPa. The change of Marshall value of the taphole mix with time was tested. The shear stress at 300℃,cold modulus of rupture,cold crushing strength,and apparent porosity of the taphole mix specimen were determined. The results showed that: (1)as the increase of the binder viscosity,the binder addition demand increased,the plasticity of taphole mix got better, and the shear stress at 300℃ reduced;(2)as the fixed carbon content.of binder increased,the strength of sintered taphole mix increased while apparent porosity declined.
