摘　　要： 安吉拉·卡特是当代英国文坛备受关注的一位女作家。她在上世纪70年代发表的经典力作《新夏娃受难记》是对当时风行一时的神话原型批评的一种戏仿。本文从情节、母题和人物三个角度探讨了小说对荣格神话原型批评的颠覆与掩埋,阐述了卡特对"双性同体"和"两性共存"的冷静反思。 Angela Carter receives much critical attention among the contemporary British novelists. The Passion of New Eve, which was published in the 1970s, is a parody of the Jungian Mythological and Archetypal criticism. This paper is intended to examine its subversion of the Jungian theory from the perspectives of parodic plot, motif and characterization, and explain Carter＇s concern over ＂androgyny＂ and intersexual relationship.
