摘　　要： 构建自由贸易区目前已经成为各国争取市场资源、扩大发展空间、提升国际地位的重要战略手段,中国通过首脑外交、商务部的专业外交、外交部的功能外交等各方面的外交努力,认真实施自由贸易区战略,积极推进自由贸易区建设。目前,国际金融危机导致全球自由贸易面临巨大的挑战,在当前背景下加快推进自由贸易区建设,对于有效应对国际金融危机影响,促进国民经济持续稳定发展,具有重要的意义。 At present, the establishment of a free trade area has become an important strategic tool of each nation to acquire market resources, to expand development space and to enhance international status. In such circumstances, Chinese government has adjusted the new key-point of foreign trade policy to establish the free trade area rapidly. By a multilevel diplomatic effort, such as the Summit Diplomacy, the economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Commerce, and the functional diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China is carefully implementing the strategy of free trade area and actively promoting the construction of free trade area. Currently, as a result of the international financial crisis, global free trade is facing immense challenges. Therefore, to speed up the construction of free trade area is of great significance to effectively respond to the impact of the international financial crisis, and to enhance the sustainable development of the national economy.
