摘　　要： 随着2007年7月1日中国一东盟自由贸易区《服务贸易协议》的正式生效，中国与东盟的合作又向前迈了一大步，经济贸易交往和金融交流合作将越来越频繁。“他山之石，可以攻玉”，东盟10国以发展中国家为主，同我国一样处于逐步开放、发展与完善阶段，而且地理位置、人文渊源、保险市场、竞争环境等与我国有一定的可比性，极具参考借鉴意义。本文选取新加坡、马来西亚、泰国、印度尼西亚、菲律宾等5国作为比较对象，以其保险业发展和开放过程中的经验教训为镜，以促进我国保险业健康稳定与可持续发展，尽量避免少走弯路，减少改革成本。 As with similar background, ASEAN countries＇ experience about the development and opening of the insurance industry could be a warning of China＇s insurance industry. Comparative analysis of China and ASEAN countries especially Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, in the development process and problems of insurance industry, we can sum up and learn their experience and lessons, in order to promote the healthy, stable and sustainable development of China＇s insurance industry.
