摘　　要： 介绍了佛山地区与材料化学相关的优势产业—陶瓷、涂料、钢材、铝材、塑料的发展情况;探讨了基于地方性大学的特征设置材料化学专业实验及合理组织教学;努力培养适应佛山当地需要的具创新能力和创新精神的学生,办出佛山地方大学的特色,使材料化学专业成为最具活力的专业之一。 The development complexion of foshan city advantageous sectors correlated with material chemistry, which be involved with ceramics, dope, steels, domestic aluminium, plastics was introduced. Setting material chemistry specialty experiment items, the practice and organize teaching in reason basing on tlle character of local university were explored. It made great efforts to train students＇ innovative abilities and initiative spirits adapting for foshan local requirement, gave prominence to foshan local university distinctive characteristics, and made the material chemistry specialty retaining fresh and vigor.
