三聚氰胺乙二醛抗水剂对涂布纸性能的影响

摘  要: 以三聚氰胺、乙二醛为原料,制备了用于涂布的三聚氰胺乙二醛(MG)抗水剂;采用X射线衍射分析对产物结构进行了表征,研究了MG对涂布纸性能的影响;初步分析了MG对涂料的流变行为的影响;通过扫描电镜(SEM)观察了纸张表面及断面的微观结构。结果表明,随着MG用量的增加,纸张的抗张强度增大,耐破度先增大然后略有下降,纸张的湿强度大幅增加,而白度随MG与淀粉质量比的增大而减小。当MG用量与淀粉用量的质量比为0.2~1.0时,涂料的触变性随着MG的添加先增大后减小。SEM结果显示,经MG处理的纸样,纤维结合的更加紧密。 A modified melamine-glyoxal resin (MG) as water-resistance agent of paper coatings was prepared by using melamine and glyoxal as raw materials. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FlaIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to analyze the physical properties of the MG resin. The effect of MG on the coated paper was studied and the structure of the coated paper was tested by SEM. The dry strength of the coated paper where the MG was used as the water-resistance agent increased monotonically and the burst strength of the coated paper increased first, then decreased as the mass fraction of MG solution increased from 0% to 4%. The wet strength of the coated paper increased from 12.9% to 32. 0% while the brightness decreased with the increase of m(MG) :m(Starch). The water-resistance ability and printability of the coated paper could be greatly improved by MG resin. Rheological behavior of the coatings was studied, and the results showed that thixotropy of the coatings slurry increased first, and then decreased when m (MG) :m (Starch) was between 0.2 and 1.0. The thixotropy could be improved at high shear and the coatings slurry had lower viscosity.
