摘 要: 班杜拉(1986)指出,自我效能感是个体对自己是否有能力组织和执行某种特定行为的判断。它对个体的学业成绩有着重要的关系。本文以班杜拉自我效能感的理论为基础,从专业的角度,对不同专业学生英语学习的自我效能感是否存在差异、以及这些差异对大学英语四级成绩的相关性进行了分析。研究结果表明,英语一般自我效能感存在着明显的专业差异,并且与成绩存在明显的正相关性。 Self-efficacy was defined as "an individual's judgments of his capabilities to organize and execute courses of action required to attain designated types of performances" (Bandura, 1986) . Based on the theoretical foundation of Bandura's self-efficacy theory, this research investigated the correlation between the English achievements of different majors and their students' English self-efficacy. The result revealed that significant major difference existed in general English efficacy, and positive and significant correlations existed between the English achievement of different majors and their students' English self-efficacy.
