摘　　要： 探讨了广州市荔湾商贸旅游区发展战略，主要包括：商贸旅游区建设的依据与发展目标；以创新、市场、特色为核心的发展指导思想；商贸旅游一体化的发展模式；多元化的商贸；富有岭南特色的旅游；发展推进策略。 Liwan, an old district of Guangzhou City, was bous for the prosperous commerce and distincttraditional customs. However, its important status as a commereial district has been weakenal by themanufaCdrig- bias pelicy since 1950s, and by the spatial lndt and SPaial coInPeihon. How to rebuildLiwan's commerce and culture glamour to promete the devefopent of the district, and the an, thedevelopment of the whole Guangzhou City, is a problem that needs to be studial. chnaxy straopcanalyses on building Liwan into a commercial and tourism diatrict are made.1 ) A SWOT (strength,weakness, oppodrity and threat) analysis: it is suguted that Uwan should be bullt into an wttcornxnreial and tourism district according to its historical and edshng advantages. 2) An analysis on objects,strategic thinking and developing wodel for Liwan commercial and tourism district: the importance ofinnovahon, distinchon and edet orientation is emphasind, and a ndl of conarce-tourism intoptingdevelopment is suguted. 3) An analyis on stalopc enhalis: it is opted that the comreialdevelopment in liwan district should be diversed with the ha on retril wt caering to widdle and fowrtriddle incom People, the spectal commodity markets and some chd8 of ndonal wholesale markets, and thetourism in Liwan should carry forward the Lingnan style chch has distinctive feabe in commeial cultheand sirit of opening and modermzation . Finally, some suophons on the mpententation of the straegy areput forward.
