摘 要: "写长法"是以写的方式促进外语学习的方法。它针对学外语多年而不会运用的困境,以设计激发写作冲动的任务为教学重点,在一定的学习阶段,顺应外语学习规律,通过调节作文长度要求,逐步加大写作量,使学生在表达真情实感的过程中,冲破外语学习的极限,由此增强学习成就感,提高自信心,将外语知识加速打造成外语运用能力。本文概述对"写长法"的最新认识和教学实验结果。 The Length Approach is a task-based, experiential, and write-to-learn approach to foreign language learning, with special attention paid to satisfying learners' affective needs. Through manipulation of the length requirement of writing, learners are pushed to write increasingly long compositions, thus reinforcing their sense of achievement, enhancing their confidence in their ability to learn the L2, and bringing their L2 learning potential into full play. This paper is intended to summarize the recent development of the Approach.
