摘　　要： 本文从语言的本质属性和语言能力获得过程的充要条件出发,归纳总结出在外语教学必须遵循的自然法则,继而以英语教学为例,检讨了我国现有外语教学的一般现状。这些在外语教学中应该遵循的自然法则或必要条件有:(1)充分的外语语言接触;(2)学习的兴趣驱动;(3)学习过程中不间断的成就感;(4)学习行为的生理性和心理性。本文并列举了我国外语(尤其是英语)学习环境所发生的重大变化,指出了研究和实施适应变化了的外语学习环境的外语教学模式建构、课堂教学定位、教师定位、教材及学习资源建设以及学习者群体的分类研究的迫切性。 The present study attempts to lay out some tentative natural laws in foreign language learning on the basis of the alleged substantive properties of human language and assumptions on first language acquisition.The so-called natural laws in foreign languages may include(1)sustainable adequacy of linguistic exposure,(2)interest-driven,(3)global sense of achievement,(4)the physiological and psychological foundations for foreign language learning.The paper also highlights the dramatic changes in the environment for foreign language learning/teaching over the years and calls for corresponding changes in design of teaching models,construction of the resources and teaching materials,identification of the roles of teachers and classroom teaching.
