摘　　要： 属于广府文化区域的顺德,历来都能抓住机遇、蓄势发展。回顾顺德商业、制造业、龙舟活动、地方教育、花卉种植等传统,可以清晰了解到顺德的现代化发展在传承广府文化要素的同时,也包含了更多的创新内涵。可以说,今天的顺德是传统与现代交相辉映的崭新时空。实际上,广府文化的厚度足够影响一代又一代顺德人的精神品格与价值观念,使其在不断继承前人的思维模式及文化品格之后,涌现更多的超越。 Shunde, a region of Cantonese culture, can always hold the opportunity and gather the potentialities to develop. Reviewing Shunde＇s traditions in trade, manufacturing industry, dragon boat activities, local education, flowers and plants planting, readers may clearly understand that Shunde＇s modernization means more innovation, while inheriting the feature of Cantonese culture. Today tradition and modernization combine well in Shunde. In fact, cantonese culture can completely affect the native residents＇ spiritual character and view point, generation by generation and make them surpass by inheriting the prodecessor＇s thinking mode and cultural character.
