Based on the analysis of three main factors,the ratio of pigment to binder（P/B）,pigment volume concentration（PVC） and different binder,which affect the weather durability and stain-resistance of exterior wall latex coating,formulation design of high weather-durability and stain-resistance exterior wall latex coating was made.The experimental results show that the resultant exterior wall latex coating covering capacity and the stain resistance increase with P/B increases,and the optimum values of the weather durability and stain resistance appear when the P/B=3.0.When PVC=0.45 with assurance of PVC
