摘　　要： 一张图片胜过千言万语。图片展示是一种行之有效的教学方法，图片在精读教学中可以起到各种各样的作用：图片可以用来再现历史场面；图片可以用来展现地理位置；图片可以用来增强对实物或动物的直观感；图片可以用来充当导游；图片可以用来增加生动性和形象性。 One picture is worth a thousand words. Picture demonstration is an effective teaching method and pictures can play various roles in teaching intensive reading. Pictures can be used to reproduce the historical scenes. Pictures can be utilized to indicate the geographical locations. Pictures can be employed to reinforce the visual sense of objects and animals. Pictures can be applied to act as a tourist guide. Pictures can be exploited to enhance the liveliness and vividness.
