摘　　要： 主位概念对于现代汉语的语法分析和话语分析都不具有实际的意义;对话题的性质及其在话语分析中的作用进行辨正、阐述,认为话题是话语层面的概念,在话语中一定被回指。 Through the discussion of the nature of the theme,the subject and the topic,this paper proposes the definition that theme is not temporarily applicable to the grammatical analysis and discourse analysis of modern Chinese.In addition,this paper gives discussion and statement on the nature of the topic and its function in discourse analysis,with the viewpoint that the topic belongs to the discourse level,and must be anaphoricly referred in the discourse.
