摘 要: 不同于Seyda(2005)的研究发现4岁儿童没有对隐喻映射给出言语性解释的能力,只是到了5岁才具备此项能力;笔者以为4岁儿童即能在中性语境中理解隐喻句也能在高度预测的语境中对隐喻的映射做出言语性解释。此种能力在5岁阶段得到了突破性发展而达到成熟。我们对儿童隐喻能力的出现有了新的认识得益于试验任务的改进。 Different from Seyda' s(2005 ) research result that children of four can't do abstract reasoning about metaphorical mappings, this research finds that children of four can not only understand metaphorical utterances in neutral context, but also make abstract reasoning about metaphorical mappings in a highly predicative context, and this reasoning ability develops fully at the age of 5. Our finding comes from the improvement of the experiment.
