摘　　要： 对于现代家具,人们喜爱其简单的结构,但却希望它们能够承载更多的历史与文化,所以对现代家具进行适当的装饰符合社会的需要。合理的装饰,在美化家具的同时,也使家具具备了更多的文化内涵和社会价值。结合现代社会生活的需要,立足于传统文化基点上,对传统家具的丰富多彩的表面装饰进行分析、借鉴,从而归纳出传统图案在家具设计中的应用方法,同时提取出传统装饰图案的人文精神、装饰要素、造型要素(色彩、肌理、纹样)等,并且运用在中国现代家具的设计中,从而使中国现代家具有自己的创新和民族风格。 It is very important to decorate the modern furniture ,because people like not only the simple furniture, but also the furniture which reflects the history and culture. Proper decoration makes furniture more beautiful, with cultural and social valuable. In order to make Chinese modern furniture national, it is important to combine the new needs and the traditional culture. And it is necessary to analyze the colourful decoration of traditional furniture, and then we can distill its meaning and design elements to use in the design of modern furniture.
