摘　　要： 20世纪美国著名诗人伊丽莎白·毕晓普是一位很特别的诗人。她的一生,就是一次漫长的旅行,就像水一样,永远处于漂流与动荡中。纵观毕晓普一生流放的经历和她的诗歌创作,其中的流放意识揭示了处于中间地带的现代知识分子寻找心灵净土和精神的支点的努力。她的诗歌使人类更清楚、更深刻地意识到如何处理人与自然、人与文化以及人与人之间的关系,从而追求自身生存的价值和意义。 Elizabeth Bishop is a special poet in the 20th century in the literature world. Her life is a long travel, just like water which is always in the state of flowing and drifting. From Bishop＇s whole life experience and her poetry writing, the theme of exile is indicating their efforts to find ＂the Pure Land and spiritual support of modern people. Her poetry pushes modem people to understand the interdependence between history, geography, culture and human beings, so as to realize the true value of human existence.
