甲基丙烯酸甲酯原位聚合包覆SrAl2O4:Eu^2+,Dy^3+发光粉

摘  要: 为了阻止SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+(SAO-ED)发光粉在湿空气中水解,一般采用表面包覆的方法。今先用丙烯酸(AA)通过界面配位方法预处理SAO-ED发光粉,然后通过无皂乳液聚合方法在其表面原位聚合包覆聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,形成聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯/SAO-ED复合发光粉。采用FT-IR、TGA、DSC、TEM等分析手段对复合粉末进行了分析表征。分析结果表明:AA通过配位键与SAO-ED发光粉表面的金属离子结合,然后引入的C=C基团和甲基丙烯酸甲酯发生聚合反应,在发光粉表面原位接枝了聚合物PMMA。PMMA包覆层没有改变发光粉的发光光谱和余辉寿命,但初始发光亮度降低。耐水性能测试结果表明复合发光粉的耐水性能明显提高。 In order to prevent the hydrolysis of SrAl2O4:Eu^2+,Dy^3+(SAO-ED) phosphor in moist air,surface coating is an effective measure.In this paper,acrylic acid(AA) was directly coated on SAO-ED phosphor by the interface coordination method,and then the poly methacrylate(PMMA) was successfully coated by the emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization method.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) methods were used to characterize the coating,and the thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) methods were used to characterize the thermal behavior of uncoated and coated phosphors.The analysis results show that the dense PMMA coating layer is consisted of AA coordinating with metal ions on the surface of SAO-ED phosphor,and then the introduced vinyl group C=C polymerizes with MMA in situ.It was also found that the introducing of PMMA doesn’t change the excitation and emission spectra of SAO-ED phosphor and its afterglow life,but decreases its initial luminous intensity;those were verified by the photoluminescence measurements.The water resistance experimental results of the phosphors show that the PMMA coating layer can effectively improve the water resistance of SAO-ED phosphor.
