摘　　要： 传统继续医学教育如会议、讲座等对提高病人治疗效果究竟有没有影响，医学教育界一直存在着争论。一方面许多研究人员认为传统的继续医学教育方式对改变病人治疗效果没有作用；另一方面，一些研究人员通过收集参加传统继续医学教育活动的医师意见等方法证明，传统的继续医学教育方式对改变病人诊治效果有影响。为了澄清这个争议，本研究利用文献分析法，分析了1966—2006年之间研究传统继续医学教育对病人诊治效果的证据。结果表明，传统继续医学教育对病人诊治效果的研究数量很少而且研究质量不高；传统继续医学教育对提高病人诊治效果没有影响的结论是不可靠的；需要利用更加科学的方法来评估传统继续医学教育对病人诊治的效果。 Among medical educators exist disputes over whether traditional continuing medical education （CME） activities such as conferences and seminars are effective or not in improving patients＇ treatment outcomes. On the one hand, many researchers believe that traditional CME does not change the therapeutic effects; on the other hand, other researchers, by collecting opinions of physicians who have participated in traditional CME activities, prove that .traditional CME affects patients＇ diagnostic and treatment results. To clarify the disputes, this study is to make a literature-based analysis of published randomized trials conducted be- tween 1966 and 2006 on the effectiveness of traditional CME activities on patient outcomes. The results show that research on this topic is scarce and research quality is poor; the conclusion that traditional CME is not effective on patient outcomes is not reliable. More scientific methodology is needed to evaluate the effects of traditional CME in diagnosing and treating patients.
